Like a lot of people these days, I've been thinking about artificial intelligence.
As a writer, former reporter, and longtime advocate for arts, culture, and the AAPI community, I've spent much of my life thinking about the power of stories. Now, artificial intelligence is changing how those stories are created, shared, and understood.
I keep returning to the same question: who will tell our stories in the age of AI?
Like many in my community, I see how AI is learning from us — from our histories, our data, and the input of our everyday lives. Like many, I'm wondering: whose stories will it tell?
That's why Serica is excited to be hosting the 2026 AAPI Trailblazers Conference: Owning Our Stories in the Age of AI on November 4.
