Early Release Next Wednesday, October 21

Our first Early Release Wednesday is next week, October 21. Students will be dismissed at 1 p.m. unless families have requested child care until the regular dismissal time of 4 p.m.

If your family has not requested child care until 4 p.m., your child will be dismissed at 1 p.m. If your family needs child care until 4 p.m. and has not yet submitted a request, please email Mr. Pietzman at djpietzman@fcps.edu as soon as possible.

Field Day Reminders

Field Day is almost here! We are looking forward to two fun-filled days with our Roadrunners!

• Thursday, October 15: Kindergarten and grades 1-2

• Friday, October 16: Grades 3-6

Please make sure your child comes to school dressed for outdoor physical activity, including comfortable clothing and sneakers.

Field Day is weather permitting. If we need to cancel due to weather, we will likely postpone the event until the spring. We will communicate any changes with families.

We can't wait for a fun day of teamwork, school spirit, and activities!
