Opinion

Hundreds join pro-Palestinian demonstration in AmsterdamLarge crowds gathered at Dam Square in Amsterdam October 11, 2026, for a pro-Palestinian demonstration marking three years since the start of Israel's war on Gaza. Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and called for an end to violence against Palestinians. Participants also urged the international community to take action and impose sanctions on Israel. Since October 2023, Israel's war in Gaza has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000, according to Palestinian figures. The war has also destroyed 90% of the enclave's infrastructure, Palestinian figures have shown.
