Here's what to know as you compare Medicare coverage options.
Medicare's Open Enrollment Period is here! Visit Medicare.gov/plan-compare now throughDecember 7 to compare all your coverage options.
It's important to compare plans every year
Even if you're happy with your current plan, plans can change year to year. Compare plans in your area, and make sure your prescription drugs are still covered. You can also check the star ratings to compare the quality of different health and drug plans.
Log in at Medicare.gov/plan-compare(or create an account if you don't have one already). Then you'll be able to:
Check if your plan is making any changes for next year.
Add your prescriptions and pharmacies to better compare drug plans.
Check if your providers are in-network with the plans you're considering.
Compare your current plan to other options in your area. Check the estimated "Total Drug & Premium Cost." A plan with the lowest monthly premium might not always offer you the lowest total cost.
