In honor of Native American Heritage Month, the Illinois Department of Human Rights and the Chicago District Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission are co-hosting a Fireside Chat with Brandon Alkire, J.D. on the history and future of Native and Indigenous sovereignty and rights. Join us to learn about Native American struggles for civil rights, gain practical resources to address workplace discrimination, and consider what is needed to achieve true equality. Representatives from IDHR and EEOC will also cover federal and Illinois protections for Native American communities.
