WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced today that the Maritime Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health will hold an online public meeting on Dec. 3 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. EST.
After the full committee meets, its Shipyard and Longshoring workgroups will meet online from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST.
The meeting will include reports from the Shipyard and Longshoring workgroups, a presentation on OSHA’s National Emphasis Program on Falls and National Stand-Down to Prevent Falls, and a presentation from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health on emerging technology in the maritime industry.
