Paula Liukkonen and Heidi Huber knew the 1977 Rod Steward studio album primarily recorded in Toronto was Foot Loose & Fancy Free. And what an album. Can’t go wrong with Rod’s acclaimed 1970s LPs, also including, Atlantic Crossing and A Night on the Town. Like Elton John’s classic albums from the period, none has grown old, and each stands the test of time. I especially think of the single The Killing of Georgie (Part I and II), from A Night on the Town and how progressive it was in 1976 and how relevant it remains today.
