Gratitude is on my mind today, because we’re officially one week out from Thanksgiving (and because this newsletter will be off for the holiday, so I won't get to tell you this next week). I’ve shared some of these articles before, but it always bears repeating: Gratitude is good for our brains and it’s good for our businesses. It can reframe our thinking and help us overcome negativity bias. It can even raise our happiness levels!
And so, this Thanksgiving season, I’m ever grateful for those of you who are in the ForbesWomen community. The team and I would not be able to do our work if you were not actively working to bust gender and age stereotypes, increase the wealth that women hold, and use your creativity to start and grow businesses around the globe.
We also wouldn’t be able to do this work if you were not reading our coverage, watching our videos or attending our events… and so, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your continued readership and interest!
Wishing you a restful and delicious Thanksgiving, Maggie
P.S.: I’m also grateful that Covid, flu and RSV levels are, at the moment, at pre-pandemic lows. However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns that this trend is likely to reverse before Christmas and Hanukkah come around and recommends wearing masks in crowded areas, practicing regular handwashing and being up-to-date on Covid and flu vaccinations to avoid getting sick. |
