Sometimes we have the opportunity to test out street signs or pavement markings to see if these treatments change behaviors to help people feel safe when they travel on these streets - whether they're walking, driving, or biking, or taking transit.

Water mains are vulnerable to temperature changes and other factors that may cause them to break. Depending on the location and severity of the break, crews may need to close lanes and detour traffic to conduct repairs.
