Throughout Arlington County, there are all sorts of small neighborhood streets that are shared by lots of people.
Sometimes we have the opportunity to test out street signs or pavement markings to see if these treatments change behaviors to help people feel safe when they travel on these streets - whether they're walking, driving, or biking, or taking transit.
Check out this video on the latest set of pilot projects implemented by the Neighborhood Complete Streets Program!
Brr! It's cold in here!
Water mains are vulnerable to temperature changes and other factors that may cause them to break. Depending on the location and severity of the break, crews may need to close lanes and detour traffic to conduct repairs.
Learn about water main breaks and how to report them by watching this video.
You can track the status of a repair using the Water Main Breaks Map, and sign up for Arlington Alert to receive notifications about traffic impacts.
