Good morning Grande Prairie!
Yesterday we got word that Alberta is revamping insurance. Cindy Tran has a story following up on the premier's press conference yesterday. See the link below.
Apparently the insurance companies will be the operators, much like registry offices are privately run. What has me curious is the impact.
Will insurance companies pull out of the province? Automobile insurance is a big attractant. There are more than 3 million vehicles in Alberta. What about the people who work for those companies?
That said, we pay some very high premiums.
There are some open houses coming up. The new superintendent at Grande Prairie RCMP will be there. There's a presentation and such. Check out the story below. I've also included the survey questions so you can think about you might answer those questions!
There are so many things going on in the area this weekend. Be sure you get out to check some of them out.
All this snow is soup and cocoa weather! I highly recommend making your hot choclate from scratch and give it a dash of cinnamon and cayenne. You can add a big of mil, or whip cream or marshmallows if you like. But that little bit of zip is wonderful on a winter day.
Have a great weekend Grande Prairie.
