Sometimes, there is an episode featuring all four PCHH hosts that reminds me why I enjoy my job and the people I work with so much. This week, it was our exploration of our favorite movie musical numbers, complete with lovely contributions from our producers, who give you the clips you need to appreciate musicals using only sound.
Aisha and Glen were joined by Andrew Lapin to discuss A Real Pain, which is currently high on my list of movies I'm excited about and haven't seen yet.
Stephen and Glen sat down with Roxana Hadadi and NPR's Chloe Veltman to talk Gladiator II.
And of course: It's Wicked week. Glen and Aisha had a good talk with Mallory Yu and Wailin Wong, about the hotly anticipated film, and Aisha also wrote a full review you can and should read at NPR.org.
Stephen's coverage of the pop charts continued with even more Shaboozey sha-news-y.
Special extra bonus note: Yes, we covered Trap on PCHH when it was new, but I had a lot more opinions about it — a lot. And fortunately, my friends at The Flop House welcomed me back to talk about it, and that episode will be available Saturday morning! Did I obsess over the logistics of arena management, event parking and whether you should or should not invite yourself over to a serial killer's house? I DID. |
