All clubs are directly after school and pick-up is at 5:10 at the school front door.
Student Cell Phone Use and Family Texts
As a reminder, FCPS has an off and away cell phone policy. Additionally, Smartwatches with texting features should be disabled during the school day. Families should not text their child during the school day. Please, we need your help and support enforcing our policy. In some instances, families are texting information, such as how a child should dismiss and go home, to their child and not communicating with our front office. This can create confusion for our staff during school dismissal and can impact student safety. Please adhere to FCPS policy and do not text your child during the school day. Share with your child there should be not text communication from them during the school day. Families should contact the front office with any emergencies or if you have a need to connect with your child during the school day. It is important this policy is followed.
Winter Weather
Please watch this video to see how weather-related closing decisions are made. FCPS’ website is generally the first place to find out about emergency weather closings. Other communication channels will be used as quickly as possible including email, text, social media, and news stations. Learn more about how schedule changes are communicated.
Be sure to plan for the winter season. Update your contact information in SIS ParentVUE, bookmark the FCPS website, and arrange for childcare if needed.
We will monitor the weather for low temperatures, wind chill advisories and warnings, and weather advisories which may prevent children from being outside. Make sure your child is dressed appropriately with a warm coat and other cold-weather clothing, so they can comfortably enjoy their time outdoors. Youth Basketball Night TONIGHT!
The Youth Basketball Night hosted by West Potomac Girls Basketball will be held TONIGHT! Also the West Potomac Boys Basketball will be hosing next Friday, January 24th. Please join and cheer on your Wolverines!

Registration for Fort Hunt Little League is open and will be closing soon on January 18th!
