Coates Boundary Meeting

Join us on Tuesday, January 21st, from 6:30-7:30 PM for a Town Hall meeting about the Coates Boundary. This is an opportunity to elevate community voices and ensure your input is heard. The meeting will take place in the Coates Cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

Spelling Bee Volunteers Needed

PTA needs your help! In order to for our beloved spelling bee to take place we need parents to volunteer to assist with the school bee. We are planning on holding the school bee in person on Friday, February 7th, 2025 beginning at 6:00pm (arrival at 5:30pm). If you are interested in volunteering please email Mrs. Gray at jlgray@fcps.edu.

Families, please report your child’s attendance using one of the following options prior to 9:00 AM on the day of the absence. Be sure to include your child’s specific symptoms.

Attendance Incentives at Coates

We are excited to announce new attendance incentives for our students! Each week, the primary and upper-grade classrooms with the highest attendance percentage will be recognized and rewarded. Winners will be announced on our Friday news show, and rewards might include fun perks like extra recess, popcorn parties, and more!

Attendance is key to student success. Missing school can limit learning, contribute to social anxiety, and create barriers to achievement. We appreciate your partnership in ensuring your child attends school regularly and on time. Let’s work together to help every student thrive!
