Dear Great Falls ES Families,

With colder-than-average temperatures expected in the coming months, we want students to enjoy outdoor recess whenever possible. While outdoor activities are limited when temperatures fall below 20°F or wind chill reaches -5 to -20°F, outdoor play remains essential for physical, mental, and social well-being.

Please complete this Google Form to grant permission for your child to participate in outdoor recess on colder days, even beyond standard guidance.  You are welcome to send additional warm weather clothing and accessories to keep in the classroom should you wish.  Please rest assured, we will monitor conditions and keep students indoors if it becomes unsafe.

Remember to send students with warm coats and outdoor accessories in the coming months as ALL STUDENTS will be going outside to recess whenever temperatures allow.

Thank you for your support,
Sara Harper

cell phones

Cafeteria Courtesy

We kindly ask all visiting parents to refrain from using cell phones while in our cafeteria and classrooms. This includes taking pictures or texting during visits.

Protecting student privacy is a top priority, and many of our parents have opted their children out of being photographed or in videos. To respect these privacy preferences and maintain a safe, distraction-free environment, please keep cell phones away unless it is an emergency.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a welcoming and focused space for all students!
