The funding round for KURABU has just started. The company has developed an operating system for clubs and is expanding its platform into the digital home of amateur sports through payment, ticketing, booking, and the AI layer E.V.A.
Since the last two successful Companisto funding rounds, KURABU has significantly strengthened its market position: Today, approximately 500 clubs with over 650,000 members use the platform. At the same time, KURABU processes tens of millions in membership fees and is already generating over 1 million EUR in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
The funding round is starting with pledged co-investments totaling 590,000 EUR: 150,000 EUR comes from the venture capital firm Brandenburg Kapital, and another 440,000 EUR from business angels. Existing investors include Christian Seifert, former CEO of the DFL and one of the defining figures in German sports marketing.
Despite initial acquisition offers – including a complete acquisition offer from a private equity investor in 2025 – the shareholders have decided to continue driving KURABU forward independently. The focus is now on scaling the platform and expanding the product offering. |

What does KURABU do?
KURABU is a cloud-based club software with its own app that digitizes administration and communication in sports clubs. The platform eases the burden on volunteer work by automating member administration, fee billing, and online membership applications. At the same time, it actively involves members in club life through digital ID cards, event check-ins, and direct chat functions.
