Located at DESY (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron), one of the world's leading particle accelerator research centers, CrystalsFirst enables 3D structural analysis of proteins and drug molecules with unprecedented speed and resolution.
CrystalsFirst has successfully transitioned from cutting-edge research to the global pharma and biotech market. With international clients in the USA, Japan, South Korea, and Europe – including Merck, KSQ Therapeutics, and Think BioScience – CrystalsFirst already achieved 1.5 million EUR in revenue in 2025.
The company was founded by Dr. Serghei Glinca, co-developer of the technology and former researcher at Philipps University Marburg. Today, it brings together 19 experts from structural biology, protein crystallography, AI, and drug discovery.
